Resident Involvement Officer

Morgan Hunt are Supporting a Housing Association who are looking for a Resident Involvement Officer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in East London. For further information about this position please apply.

The main duties:

To aid in the implementation of the Resident Involvement Strategy and Resident Consultation and Participation Policy, with a focus on enhancing the Residents' Scrutiny Panel, improving the social media presence, facilitating Estate Management Board elections, managing the residents' newsletter, ensuring Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) Resident Involvement reaccreditation, and integrating the measurement of social value within the association, the following duties are outlined:

Assist in delivering the Resident Involvement strategy by providing a proactive and effective Resident Involvement service.

Offer clear, supportive, and accurate advice on Resident Involvement to various stakeholders, ensuring awareness of customer involvement opportunities and promoting other services offered by the group.

Collaborate with the Head of Homes & Communities and Community Engagement Manager to prepare for ' TPAS Resident Involvement submission.

Develop clear, accurate information and materials for internal colleagues to engage with customers and encourage participation in the Estate Management Boards.

Provide support to line colleagues in engaging with local customer groups, offering advice on constitutional issues, effective scrutiny, and funding applications.

Promote relevant feedback and insights to Senior Leadership team for analysis, including customer feedback obtained through hosting webinars.

Organise, facilitate, and document outcomes of key local customer meetings and events to foster customer engagement and representation from a diverse range of residents.

Collaborate with customers to minimise and resolve issues and complaints, liaising with the Complaints Resolution team to address escalated complaints as necessary.

Ensure compliance with internal business processes, EEH's policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Maintain accurate records using appropriate systems, ensuring the integrity and quality of Resident Involvement service data for regular analysis and reporting.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the organisation.

Assist in implementing social media presence and maintain resident engagement pages on the website.

Support the development and ongoing support of recognised Tenants and Residents Associations.

Adapt flexibly to changes in work priorities and undertake additional duties as required to support the effective operation of the service.

Deliver a proactive service to customers in an agile and flexible manner.

Ensure compliance with all data protection requirements in accordance with EEH's procedures and statutory requirements.
