I’ve worked for some time with this full-service law firm who are now seeking an experienced Residential Property Paralegal to join their team in London.
The successful candidate will be joining the busy Residential Property Paralegal team based in Lodnon, with great access to commuter routes, the office benefits from excellent technology, a comfortable working environment, and an established team. This role is a hyrbid role with 2 days working from home.
You must be an experienced Paralegal and due to the nature of the role, experience with Residential Property processes and procedures is essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and successful Residential Property Team and work alongside highly experienced Solicitors, who are experts in their field.
Duties and responsibilities of the Residential Property Paralegal:
- Support key events to help raise the profile of the Firm
- Assist and support Managing Fee Earners in the progression of matter files in their name and the delivery of 5-star service to clients
- Assist in the drafting of legal documents and with the preparation of documentation to clients for approval by Fee Earners
- Assist and support paralegals within the team
- To diaries deadlines and assist the Managing Fee Earners in managing deadlines for clients and the progression of the matter file in their name
- Liaise with clients and organisations on the phone, resolving as many enquiries by self as possible and where referral is needed, ensuring a comprehensive attendance note is provided
- To deliver allocated tasks to deadline in draft format with supporting documentation to enable the Managing Fee Earner of any matter file to consider and approve any work to progress the matter file in their name
- Ensure the execution of matters comply with internal policies and procedures to minimise breaches, claims and client dissatisfaction
- Ensure compliance with SRA standards to safeguard our clients and support the Firm in maintaining its Practice Management standards and accreditation's
- Maintain the integrity of data in key platforms such as Liberate and Worksite by ensuring that they are updated in an accurate and timely manner
- Undertake file opening and closing processes as required in support of matter progression. Complete administrative tasks such as document scanning, photocopying chronological ordering as required and allocated by Managing Fee Earners
- Prepare high quality documentation covering letters, spreadsheets and reports as required in conjunction with a matter file or to assist a Managing Fee Earner with any aspect of their role
- Undertake legal research both as requested and on own initiative
- Ensure that own PDR and objectives are updated in line with the Firm’s practices and policies
- Ensure CPD is maintained
- Achieve personal utilisation target
- Active management of lock up to industry best practice standard
