As Registered manager you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day management of the service ensuring Mainstay’s compliance with relevant legislation. Working in partnership with colleagues in the Senior Management team you will ensure the provision of high-quality services enabling individual needs and organisational priorities to be met in accordance with available resources.Our Residential accommodation offers long term homes to 18 clients, some of whom would require care and support and all of whom have a learning disability. Many over these clients have lived with us over 10 years and are supported to live their best lives.Who we’re looking for:You’ll have previous experience of managing a successful Residential Services or respite service delivery or care home and hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Residential Management (or willing to work towards). Be a confident leader with excellent communication skills, you’ll be comfortable building relationships and collaborating with other health professionals and wider health teams. Someone who can help us ensure that our clients are supported to live their best lives and also support us to set and deliver KPI’s, budgets and take part in our business plans.Above all, you’re passionate about caring for others, putting our clients at the heart of every decision you make. Leading by example, you’ll share best practice and cultivate an open and honest culture amongst your team to help delivering outstanding service to clients living within the service while deliver our business objectives..

This role will require the post holder to have access to a carFull clean driving licence3 years experience of managing a successful Residential/ care/day or respite service deliveryQCF (NVQ) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or Residential or Adult Management (or are committed to work towards)3 years demonstrable experience in a role requiring the supervision and management of staffA confident leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenDemonstrable ability to motivate and inspire a team2 years demonstrable experience of working in an environment with a complex and varied workloadStrong team workerExcellent IT and report writing skillsBe deemed suitable by RQIA (Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority), as a fit person and qualified to be a registered person , Experience of working with adults who have a learning disability
