The Role of Responsive Repairs Manager
As our new Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing several contractors and leading a team of surveyors carrying out works across Yorkshire to ensure the successful delivery of our day-to-day repairs service in line with our business objectives.
We are looking to appoint a candidate with relevant Responsive Repairs and empty home management experience. You will have worked at a leadership level previously.
You will be responsible for driving success on responsive maintenance and void works. You will oversee the full running of the contracts including: program planning/scheduling works; KPI monitoring/performance improvement and management of health and safety.
To be successful in this role you must have:
• Experience of and a passion for the delivery of Responsive Repairs /voids services and providing excellent customer service
• Experience in leading teams
• Strong budget management skills.
• Experience of understanding of legislation and practical issues regarding installation, maintenance, repairs, and compliance
• An understanding and basic awareness of current housing legislation and regulation.
• Knowledge and understanding of Contract Management
• Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills
• Ability to manage challenges positively and understand risks with a collaborative approach to find creative solutions.

• Responsive Repairs Manager – permanent role
• Salary is £44,351 per annum plus a car allowance of 2,153 per annum
• Location: We have Hubs in Leeds (LS6 2TN) and York (YO32 9LG) where you will be required to attend
• Regular travel will be required to reach our properties
• 37 Hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working, we would consider applications for candidates wishing to work part time/job share
• Generous benefits package including 26 days annual leave on commencement rising to 31 days after 3 years’ service, occupational pension, health cash plan, and birthday leave, with the option of a flexible pot towards enhanced benefits.
