Restaurant Director – Lisbon, Portugal

Salary: up to €50,000 per annum

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

We are working with a Luxury Hotel in the heart of Lisbon looking for an experience Restaurant Manager / Director of Restaurant.

My client is looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for the industry; a strong operator with a great commercial mind to continue boosting the operations.
They are looking to bring the restaurant on the top of the destination scene in Lisbon.

About the position

• Manage the smooth running of the operation
• Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided
• Manage the venue’s P&L & ensure maximization if the F&B sales
• Identify marketing opportunities to promote F&B products
• Engaging with local community & events to bring in new business
• Managing and procuring F&B Partnerships
• Support F&B strategy and concept development
• Run the operations of the event space
• Develop a staff training plan
• Become an ambassador for the property and continue to lead it to success

The successful candidate

• 3+ years of experience in hotel and/or restaurant management
• Fluent in Portuguese & English
• Restaurant/F&B and P&L management experience
• Have experience in leading and developing a multicultural team
• Strong organization & time management skills
• Have experience in managing F&B Partnerships
• Have a passion for the industry
• Have a natural aura and charisma
• Well organized with an eye for detail
• Understanding of the commercial and marketing actions in support of the operation
• A dynamic and motivated individual with a can-do attitude
• A people person, with strong ethics
