A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Retirement Living Delivery Manager.
This role sits within our Retirement Living services and is responsible for leading and delivering services across a locality with real emphasis on ensuring that services are safe, high quality and represent value for money. It’s pivotal in driving forward our “Ageing Well” agenda and for ensuring delivery of safe and vibrant environments that are not only housing management compliant but are places older people want to be.
The role is to manage a team of colleagues delivering frontline services across a defined locality. Ensuring excellent service delivery, quality, compliance and safe, cost effective services.
You will lead, inspire and motivate your team, driving a culture of high performance, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and support. To be able to set clear goals and expectations of others and take accountability of your own and team outcomes.
Ensure a customer-focused approach to planning and delivery of services and develop a positive working environment through the active involvement of staff in shaping the development and delivery of service to maintain a valued, confident, skilled, innovative and flexible workforce.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in working within the housing sector.
- Knowledge of working with a variety of tenures including rented and leasehold would be beneficial.
- Have demonstrable experience of managing and developing teams and individuals to support them to be their best selves at work.
- Demonstrate experience of achieving KPI targets and embedding a high performance culture.
- Experience of effectively managing budgets.
- Experience of developing and implementing robust systems for the effective management of the service.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and able to use a range of communication methods that includes interpersonal communication
- Have strong leadership skills and a clear vision for innovative, creative and viable service delivery.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage concurrent projects at any one time, with an inherent ability to deliver against a range of strategic objectives.
- Able to show adaptability to navigate through the shifting priorities of the working day
- Proven experience of problem solving
- Able to demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, diversity and be open to the perspective of others
