SalaryTop 200 Law firm near Ipswich are currently recruiting for a Risk & Compliance Manager to join their firm.
Hybrid working (2 days WFH)
This crucial position will involve working alongside the Partners of this firm to ensure they are meeting the requirements regarding file reviews, compliance, risk, complaints and claim matters.
You will need to have an understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct, AML regulations, and audit and compliance obligations for a Law Firm.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing, maintaining and monitoring the Compliance inbox.
- Assess and advise on SRA conflict of interests queries.
- Compliance - Anti-Money Laundering, reviewing and advising on improvements.
- Drafting and updating policies and procedures
- File reviews
- Ensuring accreditations are applied for annually including CQS & Lexcel
- Reviewing general policies and procedures
- Providing training and refreshers to the wider team as necessary.
