At a glance:
Hybrid working: Your time will primarily be split between working from home and the London and/or Bracknell Head Offices.
Salary: The pay range is £57,000 - £85,500 (from April 1st)
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract until end of January 2025
About the role:
This role will provide thought leadership in the spaces of Risk and Financial management for the People Function - identifying opportunities to innovate and improve process and performance. It holds responsibility for ensuring that financial and risk assurance reporting, insight and activity within the People function is managed efficiently. Working with stakeholders across People, it will also seek to ensure that awareness and capability in the areas of Finance and Risk is increased and ability for teams to “self serve” is improved.
What you’ll be doing:
Your focus is to work collaboratively to create more value for People, driving financial outcomes to deliver the Partnership plan. You will be responsible for driving financial performance of outcomes across People both with ‘run the business’ BAU outcomes or project led outcomes.
This role is accountable for financial insight, controls, monitoring and tracking of performance for People, driving financial performance in service of the Partnership Plan through utilising performance insight, commercial analysis and financial expertise and acumen.
Your focus will be on driving business action and decisions in order to improve financial performance, through mitigating risks, maximising opportunities or advising on investment in new capability/propositions. You will be jointly responsible alongside business leaders to develop plans to meet the outcome’s financial targets and you will hold business leaders to account on the delivery of these plans.
People management to Risk & Finance Consultant, providing guidance and support where required.

Financial controls and Risk experience
Experience and managing a range of stakeholder relationships
Facilitating conversation and presenting reporting to senior leadership
Desirable skills & experience:
Strong Google Sheets experience and an ability to manage multiple financial trackers
Strong numeracy skills
Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
Strong reporting and presentation skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to break down complex information to all types of audiences
Strong Stakeholder management skills
Experience of working cross functionally and bringing multiple sources of information together.
