About the role
An opportunity has arisen to become part of the Risk Management Service Sales Team. As Sales Consultant you will be working within a geographical area (South East Region) responsible for the direct sales of Health & Safety consultancy services. Key to your success is the development of leads and sales via managing relationships with our network of Agents. You'll need to influence self employed Agents and work with them to provide these essential services to our customers.
You will be the champion for RMS sales development. However our Sales Development Managers are the key to enabling and empowering the wider agency and regional teams on effective Risk Management activity. Working alongside Sales Development Managers you will be optimising business opportunities across both existing and new client prospects.
You'll be offering suitable packages to customers for our consultancy services ranging from audits to operating as their outsourced Risk Management consultant.
About you
You'll be a proven sales professional who ideally has experience of Risk Management services including health and safety consultancy. This can however be learned so is not as important as your attitude and motivation to be a success. We are also looking for the following skills;
- Understanding of sales activity and experience managing pipelines to ensure targets are surpassed
- Working in a team with a real customer focus
- Relationship development with internal and external stakeholders
- Highly motivated, resilient, self aware
- Problem solver with ability to spot opportunities
- Commercial acumen
- Strong communication skills
- Adhering to process and compliance requirements
