The purpose of this role is to Support the Systems Manager and Operational PNC Lead in acting as DVLA Liaison officer for Lancashire Constabulary and provide an administrative support function to the department in respect of recording performance management statistics and maintaining computerised and manual indices of records.
Some key responsibilities that will be required in the role are as follows:
- To communicate with members of the public, outside agencies, divisions and departments dealing with a wide variety of issues
- Recording of statistical data which accurately records and reflects the department's activity
- To maintain accurate data bases and processes in relation to applications to have vehicle registration marks blocked on the Police National Computer (PNC)
- Offer support and advice to colleagues in respect of enquiries to the DVLA and ensure the correct storage and maintenance of DVLA correspondence
