We have an exciting opportunity for a Safe Scouting Development Officer to join our amazing team.
Location: Gilwell Park, Chingford, London (with hybrid working)
Salary: GBP38,459 (Inclusive of Outer London Weighting, Band F, Level 3)
Term: Fixed Term Contract until March 2025
Working Hours: 35 hours per week

About the Safe Scouting Development Officer Role:
As our Safe Scouting Development Officer, you'll have the opportunity to inform content and direction on Safety and Safeguarding matters. You will have the opportunity to lead on different aspect of improvements.
You will work as part of a small team within a large department with further opportunities to work with other departments within the organisation.

What we're looking for in our Safe Scouting Development Officer:
Good interpersonal skills Effective communication skills Ability to plan, work at pace, undertake assigned tasks within deadlines and balance priorities Able to work within a team Ability to work on own initiative Strong IT skills including (intermediate Excel), including analysing/interpreting data and composing reports and presenting data. Ability to manage project work, including managing resources and priorities, coordinating work, motivating others, taking personal responsibility and making recommendations.
