SalaryWe currently have an opportunity within our Safety Training team for a construction/utilities orientated Safety Trainer to operate on behalf of Groundforce Training Services across the north of the UK.Being ideally located in North of England/Scotland region (within reach of Glasgow/Edinburgh) in this home-based role you will be required to deliver classroom and practical training courses to our customers in line with our current training programmes.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with the Training Director and reporting to the Compliance & Training Manager you will be focused on exceeding our client expectations for outstanding delivery.Accredited courses will be delivered at a variety of satellite locations nationally or on-site at our customers’ premises. Consistent assessing and measurement of delegates will be required to meet course objectives.In addition the role may require you to assist in the planning and development of future course lines.Furthermore, Safety Trainers will need to be able to be extremely detail oriented in all administrative tasks, which are crucial in this environment. We would also require the Safety Trainer to be up to date and informed regarding awarding bodies and their policies, to include statutory policies, health & safety, employment and equality laws.What We're Looking ForA recognised training qualification is a prerequisiteKnowledge of the construction Industry/Utilities & Civil sectorsAbility to communicate and deliver presentations, experience of delivering trainingWillingness to deliver practical training, outdoors in inclement weatherExperience of writing/producing training sessions or assisting with the writing/production of training sessionsEducation level – minimum GCSE grade C or National 4 and above in Maths & EnglishFull driving licence required.Living in the North of England/Scotland region is essential due to areas covered, this could mean up to 4 days a week working away from homeWhat We Can Offer You25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany PensionLife Assurance coverSave As You Earn SchemeRegular Discounts (eg.
