Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager the Sales Account Manager will have responsibility for sales deliverables – maximising and achieving revenue potential on existing and new accounts.
As a Sales Account Manager you will focus on the MISSION legacy product offerings along with manual handling tools, utilising your sales skills to achieve business targets within Europe. Your existing technical understanding of drilling equipment products will act as a foundation to you, developing critical product knowledge in line with our business strategy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate the development of sales objectives, strategies, advertising, and promotional programs and ensure their execution to accommodate corporate goals.
- Manage coordination of customer orders, track market and customer trends, and build and maintain customer relationships.
- Manage your own customer portfolio within Europe.
- Travel when required for sales opportunities and customer relations.
- Propose changes in products and/or services that result in cost reductions and increased sales.
- Handle any issues involving sales, customer service, technical information, verbal quotes, and customer intelligence.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
- Communicate weekly and monthly sales activities to the Regional Sales Manager; customer/new business visits, customer calls, follow up of leads and quotation follow ups.
- Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- HND/Degree in Engineering and or Business or equivalent (essential)
EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge within Oil & Gas Operational, Business and or Sales environments (essential)
- Working knowledge in a similar position (desirable)
SKILLS or SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to create and track individual metrics (essential)
- Working knowledge of Drilling Equipment (essential)
- Working knowledge of Mud Pumps and Centrifugal Pumps (desirable)
