Metallic Elephant Ltd is a leading manufacturer of bespoke hot foil presses, operating from a modern factory situated on a peaceful farm in the beautiful countryside of Essex. As our Sales & Dispatch Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing our customers with accurate administrative documents and exceptional customer service.
We are currently seeking a Sales & Dispatch Administrator to join our team and work closely with senior management.
Your main responsibility will be ensuring a smooth and error-free ordering process for our clients. We are looking for an individual who is driven, organised, and has a keen eye for detail. You should also demonstrate professionalism, thoroughness, and self-motivation, with the ability to work as part of a team or independently while showing a proactive and adaptable attitude.
Duties:
- Answering and directing calls – including making outgoing sales calls
- Responding to customer enquiries by email in a professional and efficient manner.
- Accurate data inputting to process customer orders, invoices and payments
- High attention to detail whilst able to work to deadlines
- Supporting the Senior Management team with clerical work and day to day tasks.
- Maintain and update customer records on Sage 200
- Check stock and re-order supplies
- Organising Dispatches and deal with necessary paperwork.
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales records
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a sales administrative role or equivalent experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of CRM software is a plus
