Sales Administrator to join their team in Coventry on a permanent basis.Previous experience in either an Engineering or Sales/Admin role is desirable, but not a necessity.
The Office Administrator will ideally have the following attributes:- Excellent administrative skills
- High level of accuracy when working with documentation
- Previous experience working in another Admin / Office Support / HR role would be ideal
- Have worked in a similar office environment previously
- Be computer literate to work with MS Office
- Experience with SAP or other similar softwares
- Having a positive attitude to work
- Understanding or previous background in an Engineering environment
- Be organised and efficient to balance workload as required
- Have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Any marketing or finance experience would be desirable
The Sales Administrator role will involve:Inventory Management
- Requesting all stock orders to ensure inventory is maintained at healthy levels
- Maintaining close contact with suppliers to ensure the sales team is well equipped with knowledge on stock and lead times
- Keeping track of all orders placed, estimated dispatch and arrival dates and tracking purchase orders through to close
- Monthly/Twice Monthly stock takes
- Communicating all physical stock adjustments to the finance team
- Logging of incoming goods
Sales Administration
- Overseeing end to end Pro Forma invoice processes
- Ad-hoc sales/market analysis
- Raising all Sales Orders and sending order acknowledgements, whilst ensuring all information is correct
- Sending quotes for the Sales and Projects team
- Maintaining the order backlog
- Reviewing freight/product costs and communicating any changes to customers
- Dealing with any new supplier/credit application forms
