Our fast-growing client based in Malmesbury is looking for a Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team.

Accounts Assistant Main Duties:

Purchase Ledger Roles and Responsibilities:

• Creating supplier accounts
• Ensure all bank details with suppliers to ensure no cyber issues
• Making sure all supplier bank account details are correct
• Chase any missing invoices in a timely manner
• Responsible for taking all Purchase Ledger calls
• Update payment schedule with supplier queries
• Run GRNI report at the end of every month
• Using internal databases to code and post all purchase invoices
• Chasing procurement and stores with any bookings or pricing issues
• Ensure all allocations are posted in the correct period

Sales Ledger Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all allocations are completed in the correct month
• Produce the credit control report monthly
• Deal with all customer enquiries
• Chase the sales order report prior to month end
• Produce credit notes once authorised
• Make sure all sales invoices are posted on a daily basis

Other responsibilities:

• Cover for VAT export files
• Complete the holiday report
• Cover weekly payrol
• Help within costing clerk during periods of absence and holidays

Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk Ideal Candidate:

• Experience within accounts
• Be able to work accurately and be reliable
