We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and confident individual with an interest in craft spirits to join our Keswick Team on weekends.
You will be at the forefront of our store delivering the Kindred Spirits Experience to customers. You will use your knowledge of our spirits & the distillers to offer an exceptional customer experience, recommending products based on their tastes or helping to choose the perfect gift for someone. Samples will also be offered, but your interaction with the customers is what will make shopping at Kindred Spirits unique. Full training & product guide will be given.
We're a family run business which is constantly evolving, with the recent expansion into business to business trade as well as refurbishment of the first floor into an event space, there's always exciting projects on the go.
We're looking for a member of staff for 1-2 days per week, mostly on a weekend. Candidates must be available to work most Saturdays.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Maximise sales by delivering excellent customer service
- Till operation and cash handling
- Controlling and replenishing stock levels
- Processing of online orders
- General cleaning duties
We're looking for...
- Confident to approach & engage customers in order to secure sales
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in craft spirits & willingness to learn details about all products/producers
- Computer literate for processing online orders
- Have a flexible approach to working hours
- Previous experience in retail is preferred but not essential
- Must be aged 18+ due to licensing laws around selling alcohol

Salary: £10.85 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
