SalaryAmazing opportunity available for a sales Assistant / office Assistant to join a fun, friendly team in West Sussex. As the Sales Assistant this is a important role that you can make your own. From helping to manage client holidays to assisting Holiday Designers with itineraries to destination research. This is a job for someone passionate about travel who may be looking for a role that will set them on a career in the industry.
The Job:
* Working as a team with the Holiday Designers
* Being organised and working with a positive attitude
* Using your initiative to ensure the business runs smoothly and clients are well looked
after.
* Assisting the Holiday Designer in all aspects of the sales admin including confirmation,
flight management, travel documents.
* Managing general questions from clients between booked date and travel date on phone
and by email. The client will be formally introduced to you as a contact.
* Providing fantastic client service.
* Taking responsibility for ensuring the correct flights are ticketed before the deadline for
clients that you have been assigned.
* Taking responsibility for ensuring travel documents are out on time for clients that you
have been assigned to. Checking that travel documents have been received.
* Continually improving your knowledge of the key destinations that you are assisting the
* Holiday Designer with including through competitor research, travel updates and
personal research. Sharing this knowledge with other members of the team.
* Managing general weekly and monthly admin including enquiry records, balance
payments, supplier payments, travel documents and flights.
* Putting forward ideas to improve systems and processes that you are involved in.
Skills required:
* Highly organised with great attention to detail.
* Confident talking to clients on the phone. Confident using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
* A love of travel - having travelled on your own for a few months or years or perhaps you've
* spent any opportunity taking short breaks to explore the world. We are particularly looking for
people who have travelled in Africa, Asia, or Latin America.
* Other than that, we are just after a positive can-do attitude. Nothing beats a happy office.
The Package:
* Salary £23,000 - £25,000 depending on experience.
