The main responsibilities of the job include:
- Serving customers and dealing with enquiries
- Providing shopping advice and recommendations to customers
- Processing cash and card payments
- Handling product returns and exchange requests
- Addressing customer complaints
- Receiving, unpacking and arranging new deliveries of stock
- Arranging and labelling goods in the display shelves and windows
- Moving and rearranging stock within the stores
- Keeping the sales floor area clean and tidy at all times
Skills needed for the job:
- Be able to work in a team
- Strong verbal and oral communication skills
- Sales and persuasive skills
- Customer service and good interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of the shops products
No prior work experience is necessary.
