We have an exciting opportunity to join an established electrical accessories manufacturer - our client is seeking two experienced Sales Development Managers. One role will be based in Kent and cover the Southeast, the other based from offices in Huddersfield.

The Sales Development Manager role: to grow and develop sales within the UK. The role will suit candidates with excellent problem-solving skills and time management skills with good business acumen and a dynamic and entrepreneurial attitude
Sales Development Managerresponsibilities:
- Creating strategic and tactical plans to successfully reach new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, products and services.
- Developing a strong understanding of company products, competitors and positioning.
- Identifying needs and building strategic relationships to satisfy them with new existing customers.
- Working closely with the technical services team to develop new product solution packages.
- Preparing client presentations and pitching offers to the client.
- Taking newly generated tender opportunities from RFI through POQ to full tender award.
- Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met.
- Working with Senior Managers to manage risks and grow profitable sales revenues.
Sales Development Manager requirements:
- A track record of growing business with electrical utility companies
- Higher education in the field of engineering
- Good negotiator, persuasive and commercially astute
