Our client is looking to recruit a Sales Director to join their business, to drive and lead their small sales team from the front. You will be hands on assisting the sales closures and bringing on larger new contracts
Role Description
Thanks to continued, sustained growth and as part of our wider strategic goals, we are now looking to hire a Sales Director. This is a full-time on-site role - taking on dual-responsibilities - combining leading the New Business team, encouraging and supporting them to ensure their KPI's are met, whilst also taking responsibility for your own numbers and being involved in the day-to-day new business requirements alongside your team. Tasks such as prospecting, developing sales strategies for the wider team, creating and executing team sales plans, conducting market research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams are imperative to the success of this role. The Sales Director will be ultimately responsible for driving new business sales revenue, identifying new business opportunities, and building relationships with potential clients. The ideal candidate would have experience of inheriting and leading an in-situ team. There is expected and anticipated growth within this team, so an ability to recruit well, train develop and motivate the team is also a requirement.
You will work with the Director of the business and will be jointly responsible for analysing and forecasting growth, and the strategic operational side to ensure continued growth plans are achieved.
Experience
- Experience in sales, business development, and managing client relationships.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools is preferred.
