Metalis are working with a leading manufacturer based in Leicester who are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Account Management and development - maintaining strong connections with existing client base
• Keeping up to date with industry trends
• Managing own diary, scheduling, and attending client visits
• Keeping CRM systems up to date and accurately recording all sale activities and customer interactions
• Responding efficiently to all customer enquiries
• Following up on quotations and leads
• Identify new business opportunities within the territory
• Developing and working from sales plans

The role involves working from home 1 day a week and being out on the road visiting new and existing clients 4 days a week (there is some potential for overnight stays.)

The successful candidate will have:

• Relevant professional experience in a technical sales role
• Willingness to travel for regular customer visits (North UK responsibility) including overnight stays, as well some yearly EMEA travel, full clean driving license required
• A good understanding of compressed air or gases (essential)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft packages as well as exposure to CRM systems (essential)

Shifts & Salary

• 40,000 - 45,000
• Leicester (travelling throughout the Northern UK Territory)
