WHAT YOU'LL DO:
You’ll be an important member of the sales team aligning your technical and people skills. This role tends to have a UK focus, but also has a global element because of the organisation’s international reach.
- Provide technical and commercial support for our global sales team, focusing on industries like Oil & Gas and Chemical.
- Evaluate customer needs, generate proposals, and guide deals to closure using clear communication.
- Manage projects from initial enquiry to order handover, collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues - strong interpersonal skills are essential.
WHO YOU ARE:
You’re an experienced engineer, looking to develop your commercial skills. You’ve probably recognised that there’s more to your career than staying on the tools (although you enjoy that element). You’ve enjoyed client contact and getting involved and want more of it. You can listen to your customers needs and develop innovative and practical solutions that drive loyalty.
- A qualified engineer with a degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
- A clear and concise communicator who can translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- A highly organised individual with excellent prioritisation skills.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and maintains a positive attitude
SALARY AND BENEFITS: The starting annual salary pays up to £34,000 plus 25 days holiday A fresh graduate would be welcomed at about £28,500 and given training and experience) flexible working, and an employee assistance programme.
