Sales Engineer

A rare opportunity to get into selling high value packaging machinery solutions into the pharmaceutical market for a good industrial sales person with an engineering background and qualifications looking for a career move.
Full product training & technical sales support will be offered to the successful candidate.
 
BASIC SALARY: up to £38,000

LOCATION: Covering the whole of the UK and Ireland you will be home based and will ideally be living within 2 hours of Slough

This Sales Engineer role is a new business role targeting known key accounts in the pharmaceutical market with full technical pre sales and project management support offered.
 
Full product training and ongoing technical sales support will be offered to the successful candidate.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:Sales Engineer - packaging machinery - pharmaceutical
 
· You will have a proven track record of success in a technical sales role for an industrial, engineering or manufacturing company.
· Any specific experience of either packaging machinery or of selling into the pharmaceutical market would be advantageous but is not essential.
· You WILL have a technical background and will ideally be a qualified Engineer.
 
THE COMPANY:
 
A well established UK sales and service office for a market leading European manufacturer of high value packaging machinery solutions into the pharmaceutical manufacturing market.
 
This is a new role to help continue the companies impressive growth.
 
I have recruited for this company for 10 years and have placed 1/3 of the team here who are all still with the company.

Success in this role will lead to promotion to become UK Sales Manager in the next 3 to 5 years.
