The Role of the Sales Engineer:
This Sales Engineer position is remote and will involve visiting customers.
You will be tasked with contacting new and existing customers to understand their requirements with regards to PLC's, instrumentation, sensors, control systems, vision systems and much more.
You will be given full training on the product portfolio; position sensors, safety technology, industrial communications and systems for machines and will become an expert on all things industrial sensor.
You will be speaking to a wide and diverse client base in the automation sector which consists of Automotive, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, chemical companies amongst many others.
On occasion, you will also go out onto site to help customers solve problems face to face.
Benefits of the Sales Engineer:
£50k Basic, £58k OTE Uncapped + Benefits + Executive Car.
The Ideal Person for the Sales Engineer:
A sales background in electrical/electronic engineering would be best suited.
Automation / PLC / Sensor experience.
Some exposure to a Sales Engineering environment.
Innovative, tenacious and positive.
You must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to influence.
ONC/HNC level qualification in engineering.
Experience of sensor technology in a wide range of industrial automation applications would be desirable.
