Due to the progression of the business, there is a need to add to the internal sales team, free parking is also available onsite. Working hours are 8.30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This is an SME that is growing and supports its staff with full on-site training and development available. The director of the company listens and cares about employees and sees the importance of a good and supportive work environment. In addition, a healthcare package is available after 3-month probation, 20 days holiday and after each full year of service, you will accrue one additional day's annual leave day up to a maximum of 25 days, please note there is a Christmas shutdown period with this position.
The essence of the role
Reporting into the Sale Supervisor, you will be responsible for handling all inbound technical sales enquiries, generating new business, processing sales quotations and liaising with the supply chain.
Scope of the role Sales Executive role
- Identify new opportunities and generate additional revenue within dormant accounts
- Handling all inbound technical enquiries via both the phone and email
- Assisting with managing the sales inbox ensuring all emails are responded to accordingly
- Managing existing client accounts ensuring repeat orders and contract renewal
- Providing consultative advice to clients regarding technical sales enquiries
- Closing sales orders, issuing and following up on quotations and processing orders
- Providing assistance to other departments when needed
- Ensuring internal CRM is kept up to date with all client information
- Analysing client accounts and ensuring excellent customer service at all times
Prerequisites
- Previous technical sales experience would be desirable
- Engineering degree would be an advantage
- Proven experience in a sales role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
