Job Description:

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in sales? Quest Employment is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a dynamic Sales Executive to become part of our clients team in Stevenage.

 

At this company, they’re at the forefront of the building supply industry, providing innovative composite timber products ranging from decking to cladding, fencing, and balustrade. Now, they’re seeking a talented individual who shares our passion for excellence and customer satisfaction.

 

About the Role:

 

As a Sales Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our sales efforts forward. Your responsibilities will include:

 

Daily Sales Management: Take charge of our sales operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.

Customer Engagement: Proactively reach out to customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.

Sales Strategy Development: Analyse purchase history, identify sales opportunities, and devise effective strategies to capitalize on them.

Cross-Selling Opportunities: Identify chances to cross-sell or increase account spend and take decisive action.

Project Quoting: Prepare quotes for projects, utilizing technical drawings to determine material requirements.

Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with project managers, Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, and other key stakeholders.

Customer Interaction: Engage with customers through various activities, including visits, presentations, and participation in trade events.

General Office Management: Handle day-to-day office tasks efficiently and manage your time effectively.

Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a tidy and professional workspace at all times.

About You:

 

We're looking for someone who embodies the following qualities:

 

Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in sales, preferably within the building supply or construction sector.

Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business dynamics and the ability to navigate complex sales scenarios.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels.

Negotiation Expertise: Proven ability to negotiate effectively and build long-lasting relationships.

Team Player Mentality: Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Bonus Skills: Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator would be advantageous.
