Sales Executive opportunity to work as lead salesperson at small, successful business in Ledbury - £25,000 base / OTE £45,000 (uncapped)
Newly created opportunity for a Sales Executive to join this well-established, family run business on the outskirts of Ledbury. The company is industry-leading in its field and the role of this Sales Executive will be to promote company stock and increase brand awareness in order to drive sales, meet targets and contribute to overall growth of the business. There will be some existing sales to go off, but the ultimate responsibility of this Sales Executive will be to generate new leads, drive brand awareness and increase product sales. This is a standalone sales role working alongside a young, close-knit team in a small office environment.
This is busy and 'hands on' Sales Executive role and responsibilities will include:
- Lead generation - actively sourcing new sales opportunities, liaising with prospective customers by phone and email
- Proactively following up enquiries, providing quotes and securing deals
- Relationship management - acting as main point of contact for sales, ensuring excellent customer service to maximise repeat business
- Attending seasonal events and shows to promote stock and drive sales (time in lieu provided)
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company products and services
- Ensuring all product information is logged and updated on company CRM
- Following sales through from beginning to end
This Sales Executive role will suit someone with a minimum of 2 years' sales-related experience and ideally a background in agriculture, equestrian or car / motor trade. Must have excellent communication skills, be used to forming and nurturing customer relationships and ensuring that outstanding customer service is at the forefront of what they do. As this Sales Executive will be the main salesperson at the Ledbury site, the role will suit a salesperson looking to take real ownership of company sales and personal targets so must be proactive, forward thinking and good at creating and maintaining relationships in order to drive sales and secure repeat business. Knowledge of Pinewood DMS / CRM system is desirable.
£25,000 per annum with OTE of £45,000 (uncapped). Benefits include 22 days' holiday + long service scheme, access to wellbeing app and free onsite parking. Hours are 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday + 1 in 3 Saturdays, 9am-1pm.
