Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you'll play a key role in driving sales growth through proactive lead generation, compelling sales presentations, and securing new client relationships. Our success hinges on high-impact face-to-face demos, boasting a consistent conversion rate exceeding 50%. Therefore, maximising client face time is crucial in this role.
We're seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive with a hunter mentality. You'll thrive in independently building a robust sales pipeline, crafting persuasive narratives, and leveraging relationships to open doors and exceed targets.
Duties:
- Achieve and surpass agreed-upon sales targets encompassing revenue generation, new business demos, and conversion of strategic accounts.
- Identify and prioritise high-potential opportunities from diverse lead sources, aligning with designated regions, accounts, and services.
- Spearhead proactive outbound business development activities to schedule client presentations showcasing our products and services.
- Conduct impactful product and service demonstrations, effectively conveying value propositions to potential customers.
- Craft and negotiate compelling proposals and tenders that adhere to established pricing strategies.
- Diligently update the CRM system to reflect your activities and new sales contacts.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities, staying up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our products and services, keeping up-to-date on new features and functionalities.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of B2B sales experience (relevant industry experience a plus).
- Prior experience working within the construction industry (is essential).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving quotas.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and building relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and present confidently.
- Commercial awareness with a good understanding of basic business finance (pricing, turnover, forecasts, margins).
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, effectively presenting value propositions and overcoming objections.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented, with a hunter mentality and a drive to succeed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software (familiarity with specific CRM a plus).
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
- High ethical standards and the ability to represent the company professionally.
- A degree in a relevant technical field (ideal but not essential).
