Sales Ledger Clerk

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Sales Ledger Clerk at a very well-established business based in West-Kent. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a similar position looking for the next step in their career.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the Sales Ledger reflects the true sales of the company
• Raising invoices and credit notes
• Ensuring that sales queries are resolved in an efficient manner
• Ensuring that discrepancies are dealt with effectively
• Ensuring invoices are despatched on time
• Ensuring monies are collected in accordance with payment terms
• Making management aware of any problems and debts
• Recording notes of correspondence with customers on the ledger
• Reconciling customer accounts
• Producing Sales Ledger reports

The ideal candidate will:

• Have proven experience in a similar position
• Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Have a proactive can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in and take on any task
• Have a Full UK driving licence
