Sales Ledger Clerk

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join our Accounts team here at MotorSport Vision. This Sales Ledger / Credit Controller role is a group function within the business therefore you will be working raising invoices and chasing payments for all five of our UK based race circuits (Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Snetterton, Oulton Park & Cadwell Park).
Working with our Accounts Controller, you'll be responsible for keeping our Sales Ledger up to date and chasing due payments.

Main duties will also include:

• Ensuring the Sales Ledger reflects the true sales of the company
• Collating sales agreement forms to raise invoices and credit notes
• Working with sales staff to ensure that queries are resolved in an efficient manner
• Ensuring that any discrepancies on individual accounts are resolved promptly
• Ensuring invoices are despatched to customers on time
• Ensuring monies are collected in accordance with agreed payment terms
• Making our Accounts Controller aware of any problems debts and follow correct collection procedures
• Recording notes of correspondence with customers accurately on the ledger
• Reconciling customer accounts as necessary
• Producing Sales Ledger reports when required
• Support other members of the fin ace team as and when required

You will be/have:

• Previous Sales Ledger experience is essential
• Educated to at least A level standard or equivalent
• Ability to work as part of a wider finance function
• High level of detail and accuracy
• Confident in communicating with various departments across the business
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Strong Microsoft package experience (Word, Excel & Outlook)

This is a permanent, full time Sales Ledger Clerk position based in the office at Brands Hatch Race Circuit, DA38NG. Due to our location, you’ll be required to have a full UK driving licence as public transport options are limited.
