Sales Ledger Clerk

Repose Furniture Ltd is a leading manufacturer of bespoke rise and recliner chairs for the Homecare, Healthcare and Hospital markets. Following a recent restructure we are looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join us on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.

The Finance function for Smirthwaite Ltd & Smirthwaite USA LLC - one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of specialist medical equipment, striving to enhance quality of life for children and young adults with special needs in both school and home environments has recently moved to Repose which has created this exciting opportunity.

The role will predominantly focus on either Repose transactions or Smirthwaite transactions, however there will be an element of sharing duties to ensure there is cover for annual leave for each entity.

Reporting to the Transactions Manager your essential duties will consist of the following:

• Accurate and timely raising of sales invoices as products are dispatched.
• Respond to any sales invoice queries from customers.
• Allocate customer cash receipts on the Sales Ledger.
• Collate time and attendance information, weekly, for payroll.
• Provide administrative support for HR (filing contracts and personnel documents, note taking in HR/Employee hearings)
• Liaise with credit controller on aged sales invoices due for payment.

Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: From £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
