Owen Payne Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Controller in the Wolverhampton area (WV11) - This is a 6 month fixed term contract.
Our client specialises in manufacturing - The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a similar role.
Skills:
• Previous Sales Ledger experience
• Understanding of Microsoft Excel
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to communicate to both internal departments and suppliers

Duties:
• Ownership of ledgers including processing daily transactions of Sales ledger invoices/cash receipts.
• Actively managing Credit Control to ensure payment terms are adhered to for both sites.
• Manage and reconcile the companies Invoice Discounting Facility.
• Ensure monthly targets are met with variance reporting.
• Escalation of issues, plus initiating and driving through appropriate resolution
• Presentation of ledgers raising issues with appropriate partners.
• Flexibility to adjust to ad hoc challenges and reports as required
• Support to the wider Finance function
Hours of work:
• Monday to Thursday 8am-4.45pm
• Friday 8am-1.30pm
Salary:
• £26,000.00 - £28,000.00 per year
