Salary: £22,000 Basic with OTE of £25,000 - £30,000 un-capped

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm.  Saturdays will be 9am - 4pm and worked on a rota with a day off in lieu.

Reed in Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client seeking a Sales & Lettings Negotiator to join their dynamic team in a busy office environment. The role involves supporting the manager and colleagues in selling and letting residential properties, ensuring the office maintains its high performance. The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of the business.

Day to day of the role

• Create and manage property listings using company software, adhering to company guidelines
• Regularly review the applicant database to identify key prospects
• Proactively market new instructions via email and calls, in line with company policy
• Enhance property visibility through board presence and targeted advertising
• Provide clients with advice on market conditions, pricing, mortgages, and legal requirements
• Upsell conveyancing services and make referrals to financial advisors
• Promote properties through various channels, including open houses
• Schedule and conduct property viewings, providing prompt feedback to clients
• Negotiate offers for purchase and lettings effectively
• Take professional standard photographs and video tours
• Conduct AML checks and secure ID for offer progression
• Manage tenant referencing and ensure compliance with third-party referral processes
