We are seeking a Sales Manager with strong management skills and an engineering background to support our Sales Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in a CNC machining production environment and be capable of reading engineering drawings for the preparation of quotations. This role is office-based and requires a well-presented individual with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Day to Day of the Role:- Create and maintain an efficient system for customer quotations.
- Prepare customer quotations and sales proposals, ensuring they meet both customer and company needs.
- Understand customer requirements and specifications, and have a clear understanding of RFQ applications and/or programs.
- Work closely with the Business Operations Manager, Directors, and Production Team to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Lead specific products from enquiry through to delivery and after-sales support.
- Provide a key point of contact for customers, offering technical support/advice and after-sales service.
- Pursue submitted quotations and secure Purchase Orders.
- Coordinate and expedite customer Purchase Orders to meet agreed dates.
- Update and maintain the NUME computer system to reflect customer delivery requirements.
- Monitor and maintain Sales KPIs, providing regular reports and analysis to Directors.
- Liaise with external authorities for customs/exporting requirements.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues across all departments to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Provide administrative support for customer order procedures using the NUME system.
- Support the Purchasing/General Manager and Quality Manager as required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in a Sales environment within a CNC machining production setting.
- Engineering qualification to read and understand technical drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word & Excel, with sound IT and keyboard skills.
- Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.

- Full-time position with a 39-hour workweek.
- Office hours from 08:30 am to 17:00 pm Monday to Thursday, and 08:30 to 16:00 pm on Friday.
