The Speciality Polymers and Resins business is a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of acrylic polymers and resins. We work with some of the biggest players in the medical, dental, costings and adhesives industries and have a proven track record of developing innovative solutions, tailoring the design and production of acrylic polymers for our customers.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a EMEA Specialty Polymers & Resins Sales Managerto be part of the Commercial team, helping grow the sales, margin, and market share in the EMEA region. The role requires delivery against specific sales and margin targets for the Polymers and Resins market and to provide industry expertise into business innovation and marketing activities to influence the selection, and manage the delivery, of business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Commercial Director, this position is accountable for the development of the territory, managing a portfolio of key customers and export markets through effective key account planning. It is crucial to the business that our key customers are managed in a professional, structured manner, with a strong attention to detail. In addition, you will be expected to utilise a consultative sales approach to uncover and convert new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with your customer base, to understand and utilise their changing needs.
The role will also lead on new product and application development, and identify new opportunities with customers, using a team approach to develop, manage, and deliver projects.
What Are We Looking For?
- Extensive experience in a lead sales role is essential, as is working and delivering in a variety of different cultures, and ideally the successful candidate will have experience in the Chemical industry.
- The delivery of the strategy will require demonstration of project management skills and previous commercial experience.
- We are looking for a professional individual with drive and enthusiasm, who is able to quickly convert opportunities into long term sales.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ideally, knowledge of the acrylics resin industry, including glass interleavents, porous moulds, industrial and conformal coatings.
- Language skills are not a pre-requisite but would be advantageous.
