Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Internal Sales Manager shall implement, promote, and lead the development of the Screw Pump division into the companys sales strategy.
The Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Internal Sales Manager will ideally have sales or management experience in the pump sector or fluid power products such as hydraulics, pneumatics, compressed air, MRO - bearings, seals, motors, mechanical components or similar with experience selling into the water industry.

Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Internal SalesEngineer Role
- Implement, promote, and lead the development of the Screw Pump division into the companys sales strategy.
- Target the water industry and heavy industry by taking a new product range from concept to customer.
- Manage the UK territory including regular reporting on territory plan, progress to plan, sales forecast, sales and marketing, and sales pursuits both direct and through channel partners/ distribution.
- Create strong contacts and relationships with water boards/authorities.
- Monitor business trends, and competitor data and gather market intelligence relating to the UK pump industry.
- Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development. 80% new business development.
- Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Internal Sales EngineerRequirements
- Experience as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, or similar within the pumps sector or water authorities.
- Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable global company.
- Background in developing new business opportunities and implementing sales strategies UK-wide, ideally within the pumps and/or water sector.
- Experienced in selling Industrial pumps, LSM pumps, Peristaltic pumps, Centrifugal pumps, Submersible pumps, Screw pumps, Piston pumps, Rotatory pumps or similar within Hydraulic / Pneumatic / Fluid Power is advantageous.
- Specific knowledge of applications related to the water industry, water & wastewater treatment, or similar.
- A technical engineering degree is advantageous.
- Willingness to commute to the office near Chesterfield and occasional site visits
