Role: Sales & Marketing Manager
Location: Forest Row, East Grinstead
Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday from 9-5.30 (Occasional weekend work as required)
Salary: 38,000pa

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales & Marketing Manager to join the leadership team, focused on the delivery of hotel's sales and marketing plan through relationship building and creativity to meet the needs of our guest market.
This is a key role focusing on the delivery of the sales and marketing plan through the hotel; driving budgeted sales, monitoring business segments and acting upon opportunity areas.
Some of your responsibilities would include:
- Develop and lead annual Sales & Marketing plan and budget to deliver vision, commercial targets and customer satisfaction
- Solicit new and existing corporate accounts
- Actively visiting clients (one day per week) to give hotel updates and information
- Review and audit current sales processes and implement new strategies
- Attend trade shops, community events and industry meetings
- Be ambassador for sales and marketing Opera reporting and data analysis
- Promote social media marketing and create, update and drive results for the annual Calendar of Events
- Be the point of contact for all ad-hoc sales and marketing requests.
Candidate requirements:
- You will have a minimum of 2 years of direct sales and marketing experience, ideally in hospitality or leisure and be able to demonstrate an understanding of key market segments
- Experience with strategic business development and budget management
- Confident leadership qualities, ability to influence positively
- Track record of successful implementation of Sales & Marketing plans
- Experience of managing corporate accounts, maintaining relationships and negotiating rates
- Excellent selling and decision making skills.
