AddressYour team: Strategic Development is a core function of the Commercial Department and is responsible for setting the strategic agenda, driving key commercial initiatives and the development of our sales strategy to ensure growth across News UK’s advertising product and services.
Your role: We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to oversee the improvement and evolution of Salesforce to deliver operational effectiveness and efficiencies to our commercial teams.
Day to day you will:
Measure how Sales Managers spend their time and use that data to improve process and IT automation priorities.
Track sales team critical metrics (close rate, pipeline growth, upsell, cross-sell, churn rate, etc.). Improve performance by tracking sales goals and compensation plans.
Produce regular reports, including on agreed usage KPIs.
Maintain and enhance Salesforce Lightning so that data is optimised for the current structure and future requirements.
Conduct reviews of account performance, account segmentation and prioritisation, and coordinate win/loss analysis and other predictive analytics.
Effectively partner and appropriately challenge leadership to overachieve revenue targets and instil centralised processes.
Handle the sales pipeline by monitoring deal-flow across stages and conduct performance reporting.
Validate current data structures (account to contact level) and propose improvements to strategy and compliance.
Manage Salesforce activities of users to ensure timely updates of client contact information, product subscriptions and lead pipeline status.
What we’re looking for from you:
Good understanding of Salesforce Lightning, able to develop and implement best practices.
An understanding of sales and marketing processes and the relevant support needs.
Proven customer service orientation combined with interpersonal skills.
Creativity, initiative and enthusiasm about the potential of Salesforce.
Excellent business analysis and problem solving skills.
Ability to provide technical support and communicate complex concepts to users of all levels.
