About the Sales Order Processor job
The purpose of your role will be to process orders for the business liaising closely with external haulers and customers plus the planning, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
Key tasks
- Process orders accurately and in a timely manner and record for monthly reports.
- Raise and record shortages with purchased stocks.
- Communicate with the planning team on shortages of stock to determine production dates.
- Liaise with Forecast Analyst on orders which exceed the predicted forecast.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience in customer administration, customer order, sales admin, despatch, or other order processing related role and ideally will have FMCG/Food manufacturing industry experience.
- A high level of numerical skills and excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate at all levels, both written and verbally.
- IT literate, namely Microsoft office.
- Highly organised with fantastic attention to detail.

The Sales Order Processor job is based in Halstead, Essex and is paying £26,000 (pro rata) according to your experience. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
The package includes 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays. The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.
