Business Development Manager

This is an exciting time to join a leading provider of GIS software, location data and services as a Business Development Manager. The industry is thriving, and the company is renowned as a great employer with low staff turnover.
THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE:
Reporting directly to the sales director, and with support from marketing and technical pre-sales, you will take ownership of Business Development within specific commercial sectors. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan,  identifying new business opportunities, and building a strong relationship with existing customers.
There is limited travel required with occasional onsite customer meetings, attendance at industry events and monthly sales meetings.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous B2B sales experience
• Qualified to degree level or equivalent
• Technically minded
• Excellent relationship-building skills

SALARY & BENEFITS YOU’LL RECEIVE AS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:

• £30,000 - £50,000 basic
• Uncapped commission, typically around £10,000 per year
• 30 days holiday + public holidays!
