Our client based in Guildford is seeking an experienced Sales Support Coordinator
We are looking for a motivated and passionate candidate who is detail oriented, able to work under pressure and is excited to be part of a dynamic team.
Core responsibilities of the role include:
- Placing and expediting orders with suppliers as well as with the European headquarter
- Managing pricelists, keeping track of pricing trends and negotiating with suppliers
- Check invoices for purchase of goods and services
- Liaising with the warehouse team for smooth operation
- Ensuring that the stock level is always adequate and minimizing obsolescence by keeping track of inventory levels
- Documenting operational tasks and reporting to upper-level management
- Support work improvement activities and performance improvement strategies
- Developing and maintaining supplier's relationships
- Maintaining open lines of communication with suppliers, working with them to resolve any issues that may arise and building long term partnership
- Working in collaboration with the special products department to allocate new projects
- Coordinating with other department to ensure that projects are completed on time within budget
Requirements:
- Technical-minded approach and excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer services skills
- Good time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines
- Ability to self-manage tasks and work independently with minimum supervision
