Legal Assistant – Right to Buy – Part Time
Worcester based with an anticipated balance of home and office working
£19,272 - £20,287 per year

We have an excellent opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join the Right to Buy team within Sanctuary’s in-house Legal Services department. The department provides legal assistance and support to the Group to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
The role of Legal Assistant – Right to Buy will include:
- Supporting the timely processing of applications including Right to Buy, Right to acquire and voluntary sales policy applications
- Providing a range of support and guidance services to relevant third parties concerning the above applications, initial enquiries and subsequent resales
- Undertaking shared ownership affordability assessments
- Communicating with different teams to request and gain information to then report this back to stakeholders
- Coordinating an effective legal administrative service, ensuring relevant activity is accurately recorded and maintained in line with corporate compliance
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders
Skills and experiences:
- Proven experience within a similar administrative role is essential
- Excellent working knowledge of housing regulations, legislation and current practice
- Recent experience in a customer service background is essential
- Proven ability to work to tight deadlines and being able to prioritise workloads is essential
- Outstanding communication and customer care skills
- Proficient user of Word, Excel and Outlook

The full time equivalent salary for this role is £25,944 based on 35 hours per week rising to £27,309 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
