Reed are proud to, again, be working with our longstanding aerospace client in Macclesfield, exclusively supporting their search for a Sales Support & Quotation Analyst. Due to internal progression, we have a rare opportunity in a team that usually doesn’t need to recruit!
Please don’t be put off by the specific industry of this role – FULL training will be provided to update your existing skill set.
You would be responsible for collecting, analysing data and information to propose pricing associated with manufacturing a product, working proactively towards sales and cost target with your Business Development Manager (BDM) partner.
Duties:
- Manage the start to end quotation process, ensuring timely communication with customer stakeholders.
- Email/call management – professional management of customer enquiries & highlighting/managing expectations of potential technical/commercial delay risks.
- Collect and analyse quotation data to determine patterns of success/failure measured by customer type, product, and value.
- Pro-actively contact all customers to understand the status of the quotation and discuss any further questions/hesitations. Feeding back, as necessary, to your BDM partner.
- Remain vigilant to changes in customer mood reporting any issues to management. This is an essential part of the role requiring strong communication and listening skills.
- Accurate maintenance of the company CRM system.
About You!
- Proven experience in a structured, time sensitive, and high-pressure role, preferably in a B2B environment with an understanding of commercial processes
- Track record of excellent data input accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident & professional communicator
- Passionate about customer service
- Proactive, positive, and helpful disposition
- Prefer, but no essential – experience in compiling & interpreting statistical data
