As a Sales Office Manager within a manufacturing company who specialise to the construction/building sector, your role involves overseeing the a the administrative and operational aspects of the sales department while aligning strategies with the manufacturing goals.
Duties:
- You will lead and manage the sales team, estimators and Designers. This involves providing guidance and training, and conducting performance evaluations.
- You oversee customer relationship management (CRM) activities to maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers while also identifying and developing relationships with potential customers. This involves ensuring timely responses to inquiries, resolving customer issues, and managing customer feedback.
- You will analyze and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This may involve implementing sales automation tools, streamlining workflows, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Ability to track sales performance metrics and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to ensure alignment between sales forecasts and production planning. This involves providing input on demand forecasts, communicating customer requirements, and coordinating production schedules to meet customer needs with Production Manager and General Manager.
- Oversee the order management process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders from receipt to fulfillment. This includes coordinating with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- You ensure that sales activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including ethical standards for sales practices.
By effectively managing these responsibilities, you play a critical role in driving sales growth, maintaining customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing company.
