Cyber Security - Policy Principal (Inside IR35)
Contract Term: 6 months

Location: Hybrid - East Kilbride or London 2 days per week.

This role sits within the Information Security Team, where you will get exposure to a wide range of information security knowledge and expertise that will be helpful in delivering your work. As a Cyber Security Policy Principal, your main responsibilities will be:
- Own, develop and maintain the organisation's policy framework
- Coordinate the development, approval, and maintenance of well written, understandable and unambiguous security policies
- Work collaboratively across the organisation, building trusted relationships that facilitate the flow of information to and from technical specialists
- Produce high quality, timely, and robust analysis of policy options leading to evidence based recommendations
- Support Information Security colleagues, and the wider Security Group by contributing knowledge and expertise, and seeking out opportunities to add value to team development and collective success
- Offer guidance on Security Policy
- Identify suitable monitoring methods and metrics to help measure compliance
You'll have essential skills in:
- SC/DV Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be eligible and willing to undergo these checks
- A team-player with experience in the end-to-end policy process
- Experience of producing high quality, accurate and precise written work, ideally in a policy or related compliance discipline context
- Experience of successful collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders in a business context
- Experience of operating in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment to provide policy advice and briefing to seniors
- Knowledge of how to deliver oral and written information effectively
- Monitoring/measuring policy compliance
