The successful candidate must have excellent team working skills, but also must be able to work independently, prioritising their own workload and maintaining a high standard.
IT experience is preferred but not essential.
This is permanent role on a Scale 3 position with a salary of £23,121.
This position is a first point of contact with Police Officers and Staff visiting the department with service issues and general queries.
The Customer Support Administrator Role is a 'non-technical' role, which involves primarily dealing with Customers to ensure they can use the correct equipment they are given, and deal with day-to-day routine queries. The role requires the successful candidate to receive and issue devices to customers over the desk, running through a short familiarization package for a customer unfamiliar with a new piece of equipment.
Training will be provided to the successful candidate on a 1-2-1 basis over a period of weeks.
