Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Scheme Support Manager on a Permanent basis covering schemes across South & Southwest London.
A bit about the role:
As a Scheme Support Manager, your primary purpose will be to provide cover at schemes when the Scheme Manager is absent from the business. You will also be tasked with assisting Scheme Managers to deliver additional service demands and manage complex challenges at their schemes
Some of the key results for the role include:
Provide cover at schemes where directed by your line manager, ensuring there is on-site presence at schemes in line with customer expectations, being available for customers who wish to speak to a Scheme Manager, undertaking routine activities, including welfare checks, reporting repairs for/on behalf of residents, as necessary.
Undertake building H&S checks as required, and report and proactively monitor reactive repairs, preventative maintenance, and estate services, both internally and to the wider grounds.
Follow Peabody policies and procedures and ensure compliance in relation to fire safety and other health and safety requirements.
When not required to provide scheme cover, support Scheme Managers with specific challenges as directed by your line manager or other senior colleagues with Older Peoples’ Services.
Be able to travel to various locations across London – from Thamesmead to the West of London.
This role will require an Enhanced DBS check.
This is a frontline role, and you will be required to work at various schemes and from our community centre, Darwin Court.
