School Administrator

Your new companyA primary school in Dudley is looking for a temporary School Administrator to carry out ongoing cover. The school is currently recruiting for the position, so any candidate carrying out the cover on a temporary basis is welcome to apply. The working pattern will be Monday to Friday, working 8.15am - 1pm every day and will be on a term-time only time sheet basis for the duration of the cover which may be up till the Easter break.Your new roleYou will be based in the main school office reporting to the Office Manager. The role will involve covering the school reception, meeting and greeting parents, pupils and visitors, as well as answering and transferring calls and taking messages and dealing with general enquiries. There will also be other administrative duties to carry out as and when required.What you'll need to succeedYou will have ideally previously worked in a school and have experience of covering reception. You will have excellent communication and administrative skills and Hays Education should be able to obtain recent satisfactory references that reflect this.What you'll get in returnHays Education now has the facility to offer the right candidates free SIMS training and for suitable candidates we place them on this free training in order to better equip them to work in schools.
