1 year maternity cover - fixed term contract
PART TIME - 30 hours per week (between 8.30am and 4.30pm) - 42 weeks per year

Our client, a school based in Rugby, are looking for an administrator to support their HR department on a 1-year fixed term contract. School/HR administration experience would be advantageous but not essential. Please note the successful candidate for this role will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
The key responsibilities:
- First point of contact for HR issues, drafting HR policies and sending correspondence
- Processing monthly payroll
- Maintaining documentation and personnel records
- Monitoring staff absence and training
- Recruitment responsibilities - writing adverts, sending out application packs, helping to schedule the interview days, welcoming candidates, producing contracts and paperwork
The minimum requirements:
- Administration experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office and picks up systems with ease
- Can work in a busy environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to remain extremely confidential
- Great communication skills
- Minimum Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
The ideal candidate:
- Experience within a school setting/HR department
- Knowledge of SIMS
